Yes, they work well, but should only be used for their intended purpose - to help increase your visibility in poor climatic conditions. 3. Maintain a greater distance between you and the car in front, you could increase the gap to four seconds from the recommended two Converted reversing light on offside. I.e. a red bulb in the offside reversing light, with modified wiring to suit. drive particularly slowly on bends where loss of control is more likely. Brake progressively on the straight before you reach a bend. Having slowed down, steer smoothly round the bend, avoiding sudden actionsBefore replacing the entire unit (removing airbag / steering wheel etc) can I simply disconnect the wiring from the current unit and connect it to the replacement unit to test the new switch without causing any issues?
