DC18RD is a two port fast charger that is able to charge two Makita Li-ion batteries (14.4V-18V) at the same time, as fast as DC18RC charges one battery. The new Makita 4.0Ah battery with a 60 minute fast charge time with a DC10SB charger or 130 minute standard charge time with a DC10WD charger. The new battery is engineered to give more run time (twice the run time of the Makita 3.0Ah LXT battery), but with the same weight and dimensions as the lower-capacity 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah, and 5.0Ah LXT batteries. It reaches a full charge in only 55 minutes (with DC18RC / DC18RD fast chargers), the fastest charge time in its category. Includes a battery capacity indicator LED so you know how much charge is left.
